Meet Brandon
Dr. Brandon L. Wolfe is a cross-sector strategist, organizational sociologist, and award-winning executive with over 20 years of experience helping institutions navigate complexity, scale sustainably, and lead with purpose. He specializes in building adaptive, human-centered systems that align strategy with stakeholder needs to drive innovation, enhance brand reputation, and deliver measurable outcomes across industries.
Wolfe has established a strong track record of success in leading transformations across healthcare, higher education, government, philanthropy, and the private sector. His insight, innovation, and ability to facilitate inclusive excellence across all organizational levels have led to the creation of BrainTrust, LLC—a strategic consulting agency born out of his deep research, proven frameworks, and demand from organizational leaders seeking actionable, equity-informed solutions, risk and crisis management, and a blueprint for actualizing their boldest ideas. BrainTrust reflects the throughline of Wolfe’s work: turning complexity into clarity, and purpose into performance.
A trained educator and curriculum designer, Wolfe has facilitated hundreds of workshops, authored publications, and developed talent development programs that build internal capacity and leadership readiness. His thought leadership has been featured in practitioner guides, journal articles, and national and international forums. He also served as a content expert and reviewer for several academic and professional journals, contributing to the broader field of organizational innovation and inclusive strategy.
Wolfe’s work is guided by a commitment to accountability, resilience, and the belief that systems should serve people, not the other way around. His leadership ethos continues to combine compassion with execution, as well as strategic foresight with measurable impact.
He has served on the boards of numerous agencies and institutions, including the Regions Institute for Financial Education, UAB Medicine Health Equality Index, Birmingham Civil Rights Institute Affinity Board, Urban Impact, Inc., and STREAM Innovations. He is also a proud AmeriCorps alum and an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.
Wolfe holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Organizational Theory, Leadership, and Socialization; a Master of Education in Adult Education; and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Auburn University.
